Avengers Movie

Jenny and I saw the Avengers this weekend. Wow, what a fucking fantastic superhero movie. I thought The Dark Knight was going to the high-water mark of the genre, but I liked the Avengers even more. Okay, Loki wasn't as batshit crazy-cool as Heath Ledger's Joker, but he's got a killer smile, and this movie was more about the heroes anyway. Joss Whedon, what a writer/director. He nailed it. The smart-ass dialogue, the visuals, the little moments inserted with tender loving care. It even managed to tug on the heartstrings without taking it too far. I don't often see movies twice in the theater, but I might make an exception with this one.

I saw that movie the day it came out. So good! I love Joss Whedon's stuff, and you could definitely feel his sense of humor in that film!

Also, I finished Shadow's Master, and Caim totally ends up with the wrong girl! Break my heart...

Not a Kit fan, eh? Sorry to have broken your heart. Perhaps I should have created two endings, one for each love possibility. But then I'd have to create a third ending where Caim reveals his secret love for Malig...
